Product Description
This piece was made while I was on holiday in St Ives..
It was inspired by the amazing beach at Gwithian and named To The Lighthouse after the book written by Virginia Woolf. She took holidays there with her family as a young child, and her book of the same name, although set in Scotland, was written as she gazed from her home in St Ives, across to the lighthouse at Gwithian.. I adore the Bloomsbury Group and also the artwork of her sister Vanessa Bell….and here in Sussex we are lucky to have Charleston Farmhouse close by..
This necklace is bursting with gems, including citrine, turquoise, amazonite, apatite, yellow jade, coral and sea glass along with an amazing selection of freshwater pearls, which give it a naturally organic feel. This piece for me, depicts the azures of water and the creams and yellowy pinks of the soft sands that I have so often walked…
